As the powerful cold front takes hold of the Crossroads, dropping temperatures to below freezing during nights, it is crucial for community members to remain warm and safe.
It can be challenging for citizens who do not have access to a home with heating or housing at all. Many warming locations across the region have opened their doors to give citizens a place to stay warm and sheltered as cold temperatures persist.
