Crossroads High Intensity Drug Trafficking Areas (HIDTA) Task Force seized 7.55 kilograms of cocaine and 3.65 kilograms of heroin during a traffic stop on Sept. 9.

On Sept. 9, members of the Crossroads HIDTA Task Force conducted a traffic stop on a passenger truck traveling on US Hwy 77 in 足交视频 County. During the traffic encounter, a K9 was utilized and alerted to the odor of narcotics on the truck. The truck was searched and found to have two modified batteries in the engine compartment that contained narcotics.

The batteries were found to contain approximately 7.55 kilograms of cocaine, and approximately 3.65 kilograms of heroin. The driver, Leyla Rivas-Villatoro of Houston, Texas was arrested and transported to the 足交视频 County Jail.
