Carl E. Hewer Jr.
VICTORIA — Carl Hewer Jr. of ×ã½»ÊÓƵ TX, passed away at his beloved Farmhouse to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 1, 2025. He was born on May 30, 1956, in Freeport, TX. He was the son of the late Carl Hewer Sr & Billie Jo Hewer.
Carl married the love of his life, Cindy Hewer, on November 18, 1977. He was a devoted husband and a compassionate disciplinary father. He worked as a Tool Pusher at Delta & Nabors Drilling Company. Carl was a hard worker, but he always made his family his top priority. When Carl wasn’t tending to his garden or his cattle, he enjoyed spending his time fishing, cruising or repairing equipment, always with a cold beer in hand. He also loved sharing his personal stories, always authentic with a hint of exaggeration.
Carl is predeceased in death by his two brothers: Harrison Hewer & Arthur Joe Hewer.
He is survived by his loving wife; Cindy Hewer and their two children Scott Hewer & Stacy Crabb. Plus, five grandchildren; Aidan Hewer, Autumn & Jensen Crabb, Chase & Taylor Laux.
Services will be held on Friday, February 7th at 2 PM at Rosewood Funeral Chapel with burial to immediately follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
