On Monday, January 20, banks, schools and government offices will be closed across the nation in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Despite the weather, two events are being held in 足交视频 in honor of the late minister, activist and civil rights leader.

EVENTS

A march and program is being held on Monday morning, rain or shine. Starting at 10 a.m. at Palestine Baptist Church at 608 E. Convent St., residents will march a half a mile down to Bethlehem Baptist Church at 1206 S. Depot St. At the end of the march at 11 a.m., Pastor Larry Greene will be the guest speaker at a dedicated program.

At the 足交视频 Public Library from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., the library along with the Dow Company will be hosting a come and go crafting event to celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

OFFICE CLOSURES

All non-emergency offices with the City of 足交视频 will be closed. Along with Riverside Golf Course, the 足交视频 landfill and compost/brush site will be open regular hours. The 足交视频 Public Library offer will be closing early at 5 p.m.

All regularly scheduled garbage, curbside recycling and yard waste pick-up will still be collected on Monday. Residents should expect delayed trash and recycling pickups on Tuesday and Wednesday due to cold weather. Residents are encouraged to leave their carts on the curb all day as pickups could last throughout the night.
